1. When and how did you become a Christian?
Joyce Krawiec: "I accepted Christ as a young child at
a small Pentecostal church in SC and was baptized in the creek in Darlington, SC."
2. How did becoming Christian change you?
Joyce Krawiec: "I began to depend on God for solace
and comfort in a very troubled home environment."
3. How would you describe your relationship with Jesus
today?
Joyce Krawiec: "Jesus, is my everything. My friend, my
father, my mentor, all that I need."
4. In the past 12 months, how much time have you spent
in prayer with Jesus daily?
Joyce Krawiec: "I spend lots of time in my car. I
call it my "prayer chamber." I commute several hours many days and spend most of
the time in prayer. My time communing with God is the best time of the day."
5. In the past 12 months, how much Bible reading have
you averaged daily?
Joyce Krawiec: "Not nearly enough. I usually have a
daily Bible study in the early mornings. Usually 10 minutes or so on average."
6. In the past 12 months, what percentage of your income
have you returned to God?
Joyce Krawiec: "Tithing is important. While I
haven't always given 10%, for selfish reasons, the past year has been
financially challenging. In this past year, I have given considerably more than
10% of income."
7. In the past 12 months, how many non-Christians have
you told why Jesus died?
Joyce Krawiec: "Not sure how many, but certainly I
share the Gospel and salvation of Jesus at every opportunity."
8. In the past 12 months, how many church services have you attended?
Joyce Krawiec: "I regularly attend every Sunday and
Wednesday evening. While traveling, I miss Wednesday's. Likely averaged 6 per
month. 72 services."
9. Which church in which town do you attend most regularly?
Joyce Krawiec: "First
Christian Church in Kernersville, NC."
10. Which gift(s) has the Holy Spirit given to you and
what fruit(s) have they borne?
Joyce Krawiec: "I am gifted beyond belief to serve
in the NC Senate. Definitely I am only qualified as a gift from God. He has led
me to author legislation that could not be possible without His guidance."
11. Do you believe Jesus always has been God?
Joyce Krawiec: "Yes."
12. Do you believe Jesus was born of a virgin?
Joyce Krawiec: "Yes."
13. Do you believe Jesus died on the cross, and if so,
what did His death accomplish?
Joyce Krawiec: "Yes, he died on the Cross. He took
the sins of the world so that we might have everlasting life."
14. Do you believe Jesus rose from the dead, and if so,
what is its significance?
Joyce Krawiec: "Yes, Jesus rose from the dead. To me
this means, Jesus died to take our sins away and to show that we can rise from
the ashes and spend eternity with Him."
15. Do you believe Jesus ascended to heaven?
Joyce Krawiec: "Yes."
16. Do you believe Jesus will return someday?
Joyce Krawiec: "Yes."
17. By what criterion do you believe people go to
heaven?
Joyce Krawiec: "Acceptance of Jesus as Lord and
Savior and the forgiveness of our sins."
18. By what criterion do you believe people go to hell?
Joyce Krawiec: "Failure to accept Christ and live a
Holy life with Him."
19. How many books does the God-inspired, error-free
Bible contain?
Joyce Krawiec: "66."
20. The beliefs of which well-known Christian leader
alive today resemble your beliefs?
Joyce Krawiec: "Franklin Graham."
21. Under what circumstances do you believe abortion should
be permitted?
Joyce Krawiec: "Death only."
22. What is your position on homosexual marriage?
Joyce Krawiec: "It is wrong and contrary to the Bible."
23. If (re-)elected, what remedies will you advocate for
our healthcare system?
Joyce Krawiec: "I will continue to advocate for
policies that will reduce costs and get better outcomes."
24. If (re-)elected, what remedies will you advocate
against the opioid crisis?
Joyce Krawiec: "I will continue to promote the
policies that have proven to work. We have a treatment facility in North Carolina that has
tremendous success. I am seeking funding for a second facility."
25. If (re-)elected, what remedies will you advocate
against poverty and income inequality?
Joyce Krawiec: "Generational poverty must be stopped
as a way of life. I will continue to advocate for training and jobs to lift
people from the realms of poverty."
26. If (re-)elected, what remedies will you advocate
against illegal immigration?
Joyce Krawiec: "I favor a strong border and legal
immigration. We must not continue to allow everyone who walks in, to stay. We
must have a legal process and it must be followed."
27. If (re-)elected, what remedies will you advocate to
protect religious liberties?
Joyce Krawiec: "Our constitution is clear. Religious
liberty is a right and must be protected."
28. If (re-)elected, what remedies will you advocate
against the internet monopolies Facebook censoring Christian content and Google
demonetizing Christian websites?
Joyce Krawiec: "We must continue to to fight against
religious discrimination at all levels. It appears that Christians are the only
religious group being targeted."
29. What other issues are priorities for your
constituents and what remedies will you advocate to address them?
Joyce Krawiec: "I will continue policies that we have
initiated to create job growth. Lower taxes and reduction in regulation have led
North Carolina to the top of the business scale. Continuation will allow citizens to get
good paying jobs."
30. What else would you like to share?
Joyce Krawiec: "It has been a great honor to serve my
constituents in District 31. I am blessed to represent these fine folks. I hope
to continue.
