Washington DC voters will once again cast votes for U.S. Representative Eleanor Norton, the lone Congressional representative for the nation's capital who is seeking her 11th term after winning the seat for the first time in 1990.

The nation's capital remains overwhelmingly Democratic. There are no Republican or other party candidates challenging Representative Eleanor Norton, who is a Democrat.

Far more competitive is the race to unseat Mayor Adrian Fenty who was first elected in 2006. Mayor Fenty, a Democrat, is facing a host of challengers, all of whom are also Democrats.
